We had a great time at the park today, the ice lollies were yummy too!
The children have really enjoyed joining in with rugby, football, yoga, hockey and Drumba for our 'Healthy Fortnight'. Some children also went to visit Malborough Court to play games, chat and read stories to the residents.
We have had fun learning about Pirates. We have created some fantastic art work, done super pirate writing and maths, made treasure maps, built pirate ships and went on a treasure hunt.

What a great trip we had to White Post Farm! We got to feed and hold lots of animals and saw newborn lambs, piglets and calves. We ended the day with a play in the park.
We all dressed in red for Red Nose Day!
We had great fun showing off our dance moves at the disco with Deejays Parties!
We celebrated World Book Day by dressing up in our pyjamas and having some bedtime stories. We brought in our favourite books and shared stories with our families.
We have had a great time exploring our 5 senses during 'Curiosity week'. We played sound games and made shaker instruments. We guessed different smells and used herbs in the mud kitchen. We investigated feely boxes and made faces with natural objects. We tasted crisps to guess the flavours. We had a challenge to write how many different things we could see hidden in bottles and enjoyed colour mixing.
We have enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year this week.
We have been finding out about the moon. We used our fine motor skills to make our own moons. Can you spot our footprints?
Rachel from Lakeside came to act out the story of Little Red Riding Hood with us. We had so much fun!
What a fun week. It started with a trip to the Theatre to see 'Little Red Riding Hood'. Foot Prints Theatre Company came in to perform a magical Christmas story 'Shush'. We had a yummy Christmas dinner and we got to wear our Christmas jumpers to raise money for 'Save the Children'. We also enjoyed making and measuring paper chains.
The 'Cats Protection' came in to school to talk about how to care for cats. She read us a lovely story.
We dressed up in spots to raise money for Children in Need.
We had a lovely time at the park on Tuesday. We looked at all the Autumn colours, made the first letter of our name in leaves, a home for hedgehogs and had a play on the park. It was lots of fun!
What a busy first week back. We have talked about bonfire night and made firework pictures. We have been learning all about Diwali the festival of light and made clay divas. On Thursday we made flapjacks as we have been learning the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.
Today Emmett the Guide dog came in with his owner Terry we found out about how he helps Terry and we got to stroke him too!
We have been learning about People Who Help Us in our local community this week. We have had visits from the local police officers, fire fighters and a GP Doctor.
