Welcome to the West Bridgford Infant School PTA!

We are a friendly group of parents, carers and teachers who are dedicated to improving our children’s experiences throughout school by raising funds to pay for extra technology for their classrooms, play equipment and enhancing their playground and new books for the library – to name but a few! We are currently raising funds to purchase more specialist sensory resources in school, and there are also some exciting plans for the library!

To achieve our goals, to provide the funds to enhance our children’s learning experiences, we hold many fundraising events throughout the year including:

• Cake sales
• Discos
• PJ parties
• Christmas Fayres
• Summer Fayres
• Raffles
• Curry and quiz evening

We also organise the Y2 leavers disco and organise leavers hoodies, which are always very popular. In addition to the usual Christmas cards and gifts, we have also organised tea towels, tote bags and other gifts, which have all been a huge success. Every Christmas we provide a special Santa gift for each class.

All parents and carers are naturally a part of our PTA, so why not come along to one of our regular meetings? They are casual and relaxed, and we welcome anyone to join us, even just for a drink and a chat! It’s a lovely way to get to know new parents and make friends. We put details of our meetings in our flyers, so keep an eye out for the next date, and we look forward to seeing you there!
