What a fantastic Get Active Week we had last week. Class 2 took part in lots of different sports like Zumba, Football, Yoga, Fencing and everyone did their very best at Sports Day. We discussed what keeps us healthy and made a yummy fruit salad.
We have had lots of fun during our water topic; especially the last few weeks on Pirates. We dressed up as Pirates, made Pirate biscuits, designed pirate ships then made them from boxes, painted Pirates, found treasure in ice blocks and made Pirate maps.
Well done class 2, you got all the marbles in the jar. We had yummy ice lollies.
We have learnt lots this week about music, dance and art from around the world. We have been artists like Kandisnsky where we have listened to different pieces of music and made abstract art. We have learnt how to do the Haka and tried line dancing. We have made musical instruments and been on a musical parade with the whole school. We finished the week with learning how to play the drums and taking part in a session called Drumba. What a busy week!
Look how great we looked for our concert. We sang our animal songs brilliantly.
