Here are some photographs of what class 2 looks like
What a fun week. It started with a trip to the Theatre to see 'Little Red Riding Hood'. Foot Prints Theatre Company came in to perform a magical Christmas story 'Shush'. We had a yummy Christmas dinner and we got to wear our Christmas jumpers to raise money for 'Save the Children'. We also enjoyed making and measuring paper chains.
The 'Cats Protection' came in to school to talk about how to care for cats. She read us a lovely story.
We dressed up in spots to raise money for Children in Need.
We had a lovely time at the park on Tuesday. We looked at all the Autumn colours, made the first letter of our name in leaves, a home for hedgehogs and had a play on the park. It was lots of fun!
What a busy first week back. We have talked about bonfire night and made firework pictures. We have been learning all about Diwali the festival of light and made clay divas. On Thursday we made flapjacks as we have been learning the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.
Today Emmett the Guide dog came in with his owner Terry we found out about how he helps Terry and we got to stroke him too!
We have been learning about People Who Help Us in our local community this week. We have had visits from the local police officers, fire fighters and a GP Doctor.
