What an amazing year we have had in class 2. We went to the park and had ice lollies as a special treat.
We have had another busy week of fantastic sport. We have done rugby, archery and designed, made and tasted fresh fruit salad. Yum!
We are having fun in our healthy fortnight. So far we have done Zumba, running races, sports day, mindfulness and football.
Our caterpillars changed into beautiful butterflies this week. We went on a minibeast hunt in the playground to see what we could find.
We enjoyed 'One World Week' looking at Diversity. We really loved sharing all the lovely homework and had fun mixing up pictures of our faces! Can you work out who is who?
We had a busy half term learning about water and Pirates! We did lots of investigating making boats out of corks and testing to see if they would float and seeing how many coins to make a boat sink! We found some clues and found treasure at the end.
Well done class 2, brilliant singing in our Spring concert.
We had a great time drumming today!
On Tuesday we had a fabulous time at White Post Farm
The children got to show off their dance moves at the school disco.
We enjoyed celebrating World Book Day. We dressed up as our favourite book characters.
We have been getting curious the last few weeks. We have enjoyed investigating fossils, magnets and colour mixing.
We have loved learning about Chinese New Year. Look at our fantastic dragon pictures.
Class 2 have been busy making and tasting rock cakes, porridge and pancakes this half term, yummy!
We really enjoyed having Christmas dinner and wearing our Christmas jumpers.
The Firefighters came to school with their Fire engine today. It was very exciting!
We visited the library and met some of the Librarians and looked at fiction and non fiction books. Then we went for a play at the park. We had lots of fun!
Isla's Daddy is a firefighter, he came in to talk to us about his job.
Teddy Bear Hospital came to visit. The children got to bring in their unwell teddy so the 'Teddy Doctor' could make them better. The children found out about the importance of healthy eating and exercise too.
Terry came in to talk about how his guide dog Emmett helps him. We loved stroking Emmett.
The Police Officers came in to talk about how they help us.
